Nolan, Noah, Jacob, Samantha, and Nathan Dao
"In Loving Memory"
Nolan, Noah, Jacob, Samantha, and Nathan Dao, all perished in a tragic house fire on April 24, 2011 in Vancouver, WA.
All of these children will be missed and leave this world with memories of their gifts and talents yet to be discovered to the fullest.
Samantha (8) even at her young age, aspired to be a teacher and loved beautiful jewelry with her matching dresses. Familiar words from Samantha after she received compliments for her beauty was a simple and petite, "Thank you." Samantha was well read and her penmanship could not be matched by anyone in the family; she took her time to do it right the first time.
Special thanks to: US Bank for their untiring support of Lori through these times, Washington Department of Veterans Affairs, Partners in Careers (PIC), Share House Vancouver, and so many of our friends who have expressed condolences. Your kind words and connection to us is so therapeutic and a part of the healing process.
We are deeply affected by our caring community and wish only to express our gratitude for all you have done.
They are survived by their mother, Lori M. Dao and sister, Alena A. Dao of Vancouver; grandmothers, Ki Wha Willbur of Vancouver and Sang Min Lee of Walnut Creek, CA; grandfather, Mike Willbur of Vancouver; uncle, Brian L. Willbur and his wife, Phuong Willbur of Oakland, CA; aunt, Kristine Willbur of Fort Drum, NY; and cousins, Nicole and Chloe Willbur.
The memorial service for these precious angels will be at Summit View Church in Vancouver, WA.
