He was born January 18, 1990 to Wesley Shaw Armstrong and Sharron Lee Murphy Armstrong in Odessa, Texas. Matthew was raised in Midland and attended Midland Children's Rehab Center. He is our special angel who is now in Heaven running and playing with his Mema and Pepa.
He was preceded in death by James and Johnnie Armstrong, R. L. Murphy, and D. R. Rhodes.
Matthew is survived by his parents, Shaw and Sharron Armstrong, his brothers, Joshua Shaw Armstrong and Keely Spruill, and Timothy James Armstrong; grandmother, Barbara Rhodes, great-aunt, Edna June Maples; aunts and uncles, Pat and Melissa Hale, J.J. and Stephane Armstrong, Terry and Shari Armstrong, Clay and Niki Armstrong, Ken and Stacey Armstrong, Catherine and Bill Sellers, Sue and Bobby Clay, Larry and Dena Rhodes, and Sandra and Pepper Martin; niece, Kaylon Rose Armstrong, and several cousins.
