Television Personality, Crab Fisherman. Born Phillip Charles Harris, he was the captain and co-owner of the Seattle, Washington based crab boat "Cornelia Marie." He was featured regularly on the reality TV series the "Deadliest Catch" beginning in 2006. He began working on fishing boats at the age of seven, and crab boats at the age of 18. By age 21 he was captain of his own boat, becoming one of the youngest captains to operate in the treacherous waters of the Bering Sea. He died from stroke related complications after being airlifted to Anchorage, Alaska for emergency surgery. His two sons Jake and Josh Harris worked alongside their dad as deck hands on their father's vessel. (bio by: Nils M. Solsvik Jr.)
