Willie Britt retired from the U.S.A.F. as a TSGT. He was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church. He loved working in his garden, cooking for family fish frys and enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his wife Mary Jane Garcie Davidson Britt; three children, Linda Littleton of Pineville, Tommy Britt and wife Phyllis of New Port, Tennessee, Gayle Kirsopp and husband Jack of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, Tim Sterling, Ginger Cosper, Mike Kirsopp, Lori Kirsopp; six step-children, Dr. Gary Davidson and friend Terri of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Deborah Davidson of Alexandria, Robert Davidson and wife Janet of Gonzales, Timothy Davidson and wife Alice of Shreveport, Anita Davidson of Shreveport, Sammy Davidson and wife Sharon of Lafayette; a total of eighteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his 1st wife Louise N. Britt, son Timothy Dale Britt, step-daughter Kathy Shows and step-grandson Chad Shows.
Interment was in North West Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Keithville, LA. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Rita Catholic Church, 3822 Bayou Rapides Rd., Alexandria, LA. 71301.
