Colonel Robert Curren, for several years active in Republican politics in the Eastern District of Brooklyn, died yesterday at his residence, 512 Bedford Avenue, Brooklyn, aged 67 years. Mr Curren was born in this city, and in youth joined the Seventy-First Regiment, from which he was retired with the rank of Colonel. For many years he held a position in the Board of Elections. He was President of the Congress Club and a member of Hanover Club, Kane Lodge, F. and A.M. and the Old Glory Lodge, Junior Order of American Mechanics.
