Family information passed down says he is buried in the "Oliver" cemetery, but recently discovered that the Old Rosemont was once called the Oliver Cemetery. From an original transcription comes this information: "History: The Old Rosemont Cemetery was formerly known as the Ransom Thompson Cemetery.... the land was later owned by W. J.
Oliver who began laying off and selling lots. The first lot was sold in the 1840s.... the Northern section of the cemetery was owned by Mrs. Sena McNeil and it too was laid off and sold in lots."
His grave is unmarked and the exact location within the cemetery is unknown.
