Funeral services for James D. "Mann" Raiford, of Ruth, were 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 11, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel, with burial in Ruth Cemetery.
Mr. Raiford, 54, died Aug. 7, 2010, at his residence. He was born in McComb on Oct. 25, 1955, to Willie Nick Raiford and Veda Grace Edwards Raiford.
He was a supervisor for Miller Mechanical and a member of Providence Baptist Church. He was a member of Boilermakers Local 110 and Team National. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved quail hunting and was passionate about horses.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Willie Nick and Veda Grace Raiford.
Survivors are his wife, Pam Williamson Raiford; his son, Chase Loftin, of Ruth; his daughters, LeeAnn Griffin, Brandy Cline, Rebecca Carter and Brittany Loftin, all of Brookhaven; his brother, Ronald Raiford, of Ruth; his sister, Nicki McGraw, of Ruth; his uncle, James Emery Raiford; six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews
