Russell Howard, 54, of Harrisburg, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 11, 2006 in the Harrisburg Hospital.

He was born on February 1, 1951 in Harrisburg, son of the late Ralph Beck and Etta M. (Howard) McCallum.

He was employed as a nursing assistant at Susquehanna Nursing Home.

Surviving are his loving wife, Cheryl A. (Davis) Howard; his mother, Etta M. McCallum; his children, Rushelle N. Howard and Tye J. Davis, both of Harrisburg; sisters, Jennifer Ayers and Nadine Walker, both of Harrisburg; brothers, Earl Howard of Boston, MA, Kerry Walker, Bryan Walker and Jefferson Davenport, all of Harrisburg. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Gilbert L. Dailey Funeral Home, Penbrook, PA at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2006.
