Aged Lady Passes Away at Her Home on Lake Street.
Mary A. Gerts, 75 years old, wife of George E. Gerts, a brush manufacturer, died at her home in Oak Park of paralysis of the brain, Saturday. She was born in the state of Ohio, where she was reared and later sent to Elmira , N. Y., to receive her education. For some years Mrs. Gerts lived in Grand Rapids, Mich., after which she came to Chicago, where she was married December 19, 1860. A husband and three children, one son and two married daughters, survive her. The funeral services will be held to-day at the late residence, 333 Lake street. Interment will take place at Forest Home.
