She was born June 11, 1929 in Mansfield to the late George John and Ivy (Cushing) Kuelling. She graduated from Mansfield Senior High School in 1947. Mary was a member of Grace Episcopal Church and the American Legion Post #16 Auxiliary. She retired in 1990 after 23 years of service with Westinghouse Corp. and also worked at Sam's Club. In her free time, Mary enjoyed painting and shopping.
She is survived by a daughter, Kathy Bohn; a son, Michael L. Baney of Elizabeth City, North Carolina; five grandchildren, Rochelle (Nathan) Phillips, Michael L. Schlupp, Stephanie Tackett, Ashlee Reeder and Maya Danyale Reeder; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Charlene (Jim) Hupp of Mansfield and Dianne K. Rooke of Ontario, Canada; six nieces, Sue (Michael) Simms, Cindy Hupp, Shelly (Sam) Adams, Linda (Rob) Kuenzig, Debra (Jim) McLaughlin, Barbara (Dalton) Chamberlin; and a nephew, Brian Guntharp.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley L. Baney; one brother, Ernest Kuelling; two sisters, Margaret Warden and Dorothy Guntharp; and special friend, Steve Bruzda.
Friends and family may visit Friday, August 31, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Rector Emeritus David S. Sipes officiating. Burial will follow in Ashland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Episcopal Church Food Pantry.
