James Wolfe Funeral Services Held Today
Funeral rites were conducted at St. Columba's Catholic church at 9 a.m. today for James Wolfe, 78, who died Friday in Chicago. Burial was in St. Columba's cemetery. Mr. Wolfe was born in LaSalle but came to Ottawa when a youth and lived here until he moved to Chicago about 15 years ago. He was associated with Arthur Barrett in the grocery business early in the century at the corner of LaSalle and Marquette streets. Pallbearers were Geroge Farrell, Dennis Dunn, John Helffrich, Ed Barrett, Dan Dineen and Walter Wolfe.

James Wolfe, 78, native of LaSalle who lived in Ottawa when a young man, died today in Mercy hospital in Chicago. Funeral services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Monday from the Dwyer funeral chapel to St. Columba's church. Burial will be in St.Columba's cemetery. Mr. Wolfe is survived by four children: Catherine, Richard and Margaret Wolfe and Mrs. Edna Johnson, all of Chicago.
