Little Charles --- died of whooping cough. He was fondly remembered by his brother Arthur. He had two sisters Cora Lee FLOYD Sandling and Lannie FLOYD Moore Gaylord. He was the son of Oscar and Arsana Floyd. Lived on Floyd Farm north of Lancaster, Tx. - present day Ray Rd. 1848.
Obituary reads:
DIED ~*~ Sunday, about 12 o'clock Charles, the seven year old son of O.M. Floyd and wife, after a lingering illness resulting from pneumonia.
The funeral was held Monday. Conducted by Rev. Spence of the Presbyterian Church and interment was in the Floyd-Taylor Cemetery.
