EL RENO, Okla. -- Five people died in Canadian County Tuesday evening when a tornado tore past the town of El Reno. Two of them died while driving on Route 66, near Courtney road.

Austin Hall, 22, died from his injuries Wednesday morning.

He was fearless man who rode bulls in rodeos. But his mother says he was also a caring man who died while trying to save the lives of horses. Hall was killed along with his girlfriend, 16-year-old Miranda Bishard, while they were driving his truck. "They were planning on getting married and they loved each other very much," Hall's mother, Valeen, said Thursday. "She was a very special, happy, smiling young woman and she loved Austin with all her heart," Hall's Aunt, Shannon Varner, said. "He loved her."

Helping others was Hall's nature. "He would do anything for anybody," Valeen said.

God brought me that wonderful creature 22 years ago and I just wish he would have let me have him longer."

A memorial fund has been set up for Austin Hall's family at the Bank of Union in El Reno. His funeral will be next Tuesday May 31, at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in El Reno.

Miranda Bishard's funeral will be this Saturday, 2 p.m., at the Timberlake High School auditorium in Helena.
