Mrs. Evanuski Dies
Mrs. Peter Evanuski, Sr., 69, died at her home at 212 West Fourth street Tuesday morning at 3:30 o'clock following an extended illness. She has been ailing for two years and during the past several months has received treatment at St. Margaret's Hospital.
Funeral services are to be held Friday morning at 9:00 o'clock at St. Anne's church with Rev. Albert Rupsis officiating. Burial will be made at St. Anne's Cemetery.
Born in Lithuania, Mrs. Evanuski has lived here 28 years.
Mrs. Evanuski, who was popular in church and social work among her people, was a member of the Roman Catholic organization here as well as of the Sacred Heart Society, the church's women's organization.
She is survived by her husband and five children, Stanley and John of Chicago, Mrs. Clyde Zubowski of La Salle and Peter Jr., and Michael of Spring Valley.
