Julia Ann was married 2 Dec 1812 in Sumner Co., TN to William M. BOREN b. 19 Mar 1787 SC, d. 10 Feb 1878 Collin Co., TX, bd. Boren Cemetery, Ringgold, Montague Co., TX (my GGG grandparents).
William's parents were James BOREN Sr. & Nancy ____. James & Nancy were married in 1786 SC.
William M. brought his family from AR to TX in 1833 to settle near his mother Nancy.
William M. died in Collin Co., TX and his body was transported by wagon to Montague county to be buried next to his wife, Julia Ann. The place where they were buried was named the BOREN Cemetery because they were the first ones buried there.
INFORMATION BELOW CONCERNS THE PHOTO of JULIA ANN BOREN ON THIS WEBSITE
After considering when this photo was taken and a review by a photo restoration expert, it has been decided that this cannot be a picture of Julia Ann Dye. The back of the photo clearly lists that it is a photo of Julia Ann Boren and therefore there are 2 likely canadiates the most likely is Julia Ann Boren (b. 1870) daughter of Richard and Ruhamah (Frizzell) Boren (grandaughter of Julia Ann Dye), wife of James Walsh Campbell. The other possibility is Julia Ann Boren (B. 1870) daughter of John and Lucinda A Boren (also granddaughter of Julia Ann Dye. Julia Ann Boren Campbell is most likely bacause my GGmother Nannie was her sister and she had this picture. It is less likely that she would have had an individual picture just one of her many cousins.
