*NOTE: Taylor Private Mausoleum is in Park Lawn Sector Block 31 Lot 127 of Park Cemetery. One of 3 private mausoleums in Park Cemetery.
Mausoleum is in a bad state of disrepair and only known relatives live in Australia and have refused pleas to repair the mausoleum. Eventually it will either fall down or have to be torn down and occupants will be buried in the ground

DEATH OF MRS. C. B. TAYLOR

Passed Away at an Early Hour This Morning After a Long Illness


Mrs. Mary Taylor, wife of Dr. C. B. Taylor, died this morning at 4 o'clock at her home in this city, of lung trouble complicated with other diseases. She had been very ill for some time.

The funeral was held at the Christian church with interment in Park Cemetery.

The deceased was born at Belair, Appanoose county, Iowa January 19, 1859, and was aged 47 years, 5 months and 21 days at the time of her death.

She came to Carthage about ten years ago. She is survived by her husband and her mother, Mrs. Durcilla P. Fisher;
a sister Mrs. M. E. Farnsworth of Douglass, Kansas and four children as follows;

Grace D. Taylor
Morgan C. Taylor
David W. Ray and
Dr. J. E. Ray
w/o, 1st James D Ray, 2nd Dr. Calvin Buchanan "C. B." Taylor
