Husband of Annabelle L. Hill Chillas.

Philip, who resided at 307 Ohio Avenue, Brookland Terrace, Wilmington, Delaware, served as a Private First Class, 289th Infantry Regiment, 75th Infantry Division, U.S. Army during World War II.

He enlisted in the Army on June 23, 1944 at Fort Dix, New Jersey. He was noted as Married.

He was "Killed In Action" in Belgium. He had served in the Army for seven months at the time of his death and was awarded the Purple Heart.
