Daisy Craswell was the daughter of Constantine Paul Kosak and Laura Vinetta Garman. She was born, raised, and employed in Sioux City IA when she met her future husband, Harmon Craswell.

They were married 22 Apr 1919 and moved to MN to Harmon's family farm. This was quite a change for a city girl.

After having three daughters, she and her husband moved to WA and bought their own farm. She was a true partner in the farm, preparing eggs for market, overseeing workers, and keeping the farm books.

Daisy belonged to the Presbyterian Church, Garden Club, Bridge Club, and was known for her musical talent on the organ and piano.
