Norma Verdell (Wilson) Chrisman, 83, died peacefully on March 7, 2007, in Arlington, WA.
She was born to Charles and Vella Wilson November 1, 1923, in Springfield, OR. Norma was baptized in Church at the age of seven and she attended Bible School at age 16.
She married Edward Chrisman May 26, 1943, in Turner, OR, moving to Arlington in 1952 to raise their children.
For 35 years, Norma and Edward enjoyed snowbirding in Yuma, AZ, where they ran a seasonal RV Park.
Preceding her in death was her siblings, Blanche, Beryl and Lenoren.
Surviving Norma is her loving husband of almost 64 years, Edward Chrisman, of Arlington; her children, Donald (Vicki) Chrisman, of Arlington, Marie Saxton, of Arlington, Gary (Shirley) Chrisman, of Yuma; sister, Lenola, of Enterprise, OR; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Norma loved the Lord and her greatest wish was that her family joins her in heaven. Hebrews 13:5, John 3:16 and Psalm 23 were some of her favorite scripture passages.
Viewing will be held 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Friday, March 9, 2007, at Weller Funeral Home, 327 North MacLeod Avenue, Arlington, WA.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 10, 2007, at Arlington Assembly of God Church, 201 North Stillaguamish Avenue, Arlington, WA.
Memorial Donations may be made to the Arlington Assembly of God Church.
