Frank Richard Baize, 76, of Medford, Ore., passed away on Monday, April 26, 2010. He was born July 28, 1933, in Medford, Ore. to Barton Edward and Rosa Jane McKinney Baize. Frank lived in Southern Oregon his entire life. He graduated from Medford High School in 1951.

Frank is survived by his wife and best friend of almost 30 years, Nancy; brothers, Russ and Robert; two sons; five daughters; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Frank served in the army from 1953 to 1955, and was stationed at Toul-Rosieres, France. He worked at Timber Products and then 3M Company, from where he retired in 1991.

Frank was a country boy at heart and enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends. In his later years, Frank and Nancy enjoyed photography on their trips throughout the U.S. He was an avid animal lover, feeding the multitudes of deer, elk, skunks, turkeys, wild birds, and raccoons. He loved his cats, too.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to your favorite charity. A celebration of Frank's life will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2010, on the Applegate River.
