He was born in Davistown, Sept. 23, 1872, a son of GEORGE A., and MARY CHRISTNER BROWN.
He had been a building contractor and was once city building inspector for the borough of Brownsville.
He was a member of the South Brownsville Methodist Church and the Brownsville Lodge 1344 BPOE.
Surviving are a daughter, MRS. LOIS CRAVEN; two sons, GRANT E. BROWN and WILLIAM G. BROWN and a brother, CHARLES.
Burial in LaFayette Memorial Park under the direction of the J.W. Kisinger Funeral Home.
