Mrs. Elizabeth C. Moss Dies at Nursing Home
ARCOLA, Ill. — Mrs. Elizabeth C. Moss, 79, of near Charleston, died about 1 p.m. Monday at the Leonard Nursing Home, Champaign.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Church of Christ at Kemp with Brother James Rue officiating. Burial will be in the Arcola cemetery. Friends may call at the Shrader funeral home, Arcola, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
Mrs. Moss was born Sept. 10, 1880 in Douglas County, a daughter of Carter and Nancy Cuppy. She married Alva Moss March 4, 1918, and he survives.
Also surviving are a son, Harold, Charleston; a daughter, Mrs. Ned VanVoorhis, Champaign; a stepson, Paul Moss, Indianapolis, Ind.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Clyde Howrey, Kemp, and Mrs. Lowell Hodge, Los Angeles, Calif.; 22 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
