Albert J. Caron, Sr, a veteran of the First World War, died on his 80th birthday, October 19, 1975 in Bennington, VT.
He was born on October 19, 1895, Manchester, NH to David and Josephine (Kirby) Caron.
He was a plumber by trade and a communicant of St. Francis DeSales Church.
Besides his widow, the former Lila Betit whom he married in Bennington, he leaves a son, Edward J. Caron of White Creek, NY; four daughters, Mrs. Amelia Gallant, Mrs. Vivian Knapp, Mrs. Marion Kenyon of Bennington and Mrs. Kathleen Watts of Hoosick Falls, NY; thirty three grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; two sisters, Helen of Trenton, NJ and Mary Connelley of North Adams, MA.
He was predeceased by his son, Albert Jr who died June 16 of this year.
The liturgy of Christian death and burial will be offered at 9 a.m., Tuesday, at St. Francis DeSales Church.
A prayer service will be held at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Mahar and Son Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the family plot at Park Lawn Cemetery in Bennington, Bennington, VT.
