Clarence B. Lamb
Clarence B. Lamb, a retired farmer and a former resident of the Americus community, died Tue. evening in his home, 1021 Exchange St.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Sat. in the Blair Colonial chapel. They will be conducted by Dr. William A. Hubbard, pastor of the First Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Americus Cemetery. The family suggests that contributions may be made to a memorial fund to be established in the First Methodist Church.
Clarence Blackborn Lamb, the son of Adlaska Cyrus and Ruth Yeakley Lamb, was born Dec. 11, 1882 in Dunlap, and he was married to Minnie Proehl, March 23, 1910 in Emporia. He was a member of the First Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Otho and John and one sister, Lottie Brasier. He is survived by his wife, of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Dale (Lucille) Kelsey and Mrs. Velma Wheat, both of San Bernardino, Calif., and Mrs. John (Edna) Miller, Kansas City; one brother Claude of Americus, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
