Born November 15, 1921 in White County TN, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Alice Hamlin Broom. Her family relocated to Eunice, WV where Mrs. Bradley spent her childhood. She Graduated from Marsh Fork High School in 1941. As a young adult, she, graduated Beckley College and attended Morris Harvey College. She taught first grade very briefly at Mt. View Elementary in the early 1970's.
In Raleigh County, Mrs. Bradley was one of the founding members and an officer of the Marsh Fork District Women's Club. She attended Rebecca Chapel church at Rock Creek and later joined the congregation of Arnett Chapel, Arnett, WV.
While living in Ceredo she attended Ceredo Christian Baptist Church. She participated in activities at Wayne County's Bison Senior Citizen Center and made many friends there.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Buster Bradley, three sisters, Iona Kouns of Stickney, Nelta Lemon of Arnett, and Afton Collins of Beckley and a brother James C. Broom of Ravenswood, WV. She has two surviving sisters, Anna Lee Jarrell and Mildred Pack of Arnett. She leaves two daughters, Jo Alice Heck and beloved son-in-law Larry of the Ceredo area, and Jill Andrea Bradley of Nashville, TN and one grandson Bradley Glenn Heck and his wife Heather of Ceredo. Mrs. Bradley has many loving nieces and nephews. During her illness, she had the help of many kind and loving caregivers most recently Mary and Nancy to who the family is grateful.
