ELLINWOOD - Melissa (Dixon) Greathouse, 23, died August 20, 1995, at St. Francis Regional Medical Center, Wichita.
She was born December 8, 1971, at Ellinwood, the daughter of David and Sandra Basgall Dixon. She graduated from Ellinwood High School in 1990. A lifetime resident of Ellinwood, she was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Ellinwood.
On January 29, 1993, she married Lance Greathouse in Great Bend. He survives.
Other survivors include: daughter, Tabitha Ann, of the home; parents, Ellinwood; a brother, Kevin Dixon, Ellinwood; paternal grandmother, Rilla Kostner, San Francisco, Calif.; maternal grandparents, Fidelis and Rose Basgall, La Crosse.
Altar Society rosary will be at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, and Parish Wake service will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Kimple Funeral home, Ellinwood. Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Ellinwood, with Father Joseph Bahr presiding. Friends may call from 3-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lakin-Commanche District Cemetery, Ellinwood.
Memorials may be sent to the American Diabetes Association in care of the funeral home.
