PRINCETON _ Ray C. Adams, 63, of 1044 Ina Ave. died at 7:56 a.m.
Friday, Aug. 2, 1991, at Swedish-American Hospital in Rockford.
He was born Oct. 8, 1927, in Wheatland, Wyo., to Claude and Grace Johnson Adams.
He is survived by three sons, Michael R. of Princeton and Bill and James, both of the state of Wyoming; one daughter, Verla Milby of the state of Colorado; three stepsons, Larry Vetter of Princeton, Brad Jones of Wyanet and Fred Brownfield of the state of Wyoming; four stepdaughters, Judy Morris and Anna Thomason, both of Wyanet, Debra Jones of Minier and Brenda Hanson of Princeton; five sisters, Ida Robertsons, Ruth Miller, Twyla Parlett, Ruby Drumm and Georgia Butler; one brother, Bob; five grandchildren; 11 stepgrandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
A World War II Marine Corps veteran, he was an iron construction worker and later owned and operated an auto repair business in Princeton.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Norberg Memorial Home in Princeton, the Rev. Harold Burkey officiating. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the memorial home. Cremation rites will be accorded and burial of ashes will be in Oakland Cemetery, Princeton.
