The death of Sam Kile took place at the Marion Soldiers' Home Tuesday. The body was brought to Peru the same night and taken to the residence of his son, Joseph, 467 West Sixth street, funeral services being held at the house Thursday, conducted by Fr. Harry Nyce.
Interment was in Mount Hope.
Mr. Kile was sixty years of age and had been at the Soldiers' Home for two years.

Peru, Miami, Indiana, April 10, 1915.
Samuel Kile, aged sixty-nine years, died at the Soldiers' home at Marion Tuesday morning. He was formerly a merchant police in this city, and for the past two years or more, following the death of his wife, he had been in the home at Marion.
The remains were brought to Peru Tuesday at midnight and taken to the residence of his son, Joe Kile, at 467 West Sixth street. His son is a well known engineer on the C. & O. railroad.
The funeral services were held at the residence of Joe Kile Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The deceased was a veteran of the civil war and the services were in charge of the G.A.R. Burial was made in Mount Hope.
