~OBITUARY OF A. DEWAYNE BROWN

A. DeWayne BROWN, 78, of Hardesty, Oklahoma, died May 23, 2010.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 27, at Fellowship Baptist Church with Rev. Wes Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Ochiltree Cemetery under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

He was born August 03, 1931 in Texas County, Oklahoma, and married Rheta BROWN on November 03, 1951 in Perryton. She died in 2009.

He owned and operated Brown's Auto Repair from 1992 until his death. He was a former member of the Hardesty Public School Board, serving 25 years, including 20 years as president. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church of Perryton.

He was also preceded in death by his father, Harry R. BROWN; and a grandson, Jason Lee BROWN.

He is survived by three sons, Danny BROWN of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Daran BROWN of Wichita, Kansas and Daryl BROWN of Coweta, Oklahoma; two daughters, Debby WAIDE of Perryton and Diane COOK of Hardesty; his mother, Emily LILE of Guymon, Oklahoma; one brother, Billy BROWN of San Antonio; one sister, Jean STEPHENS of Guymon, Oklahoma; nineteen grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
