He was a retired supervisor from International Paper Company with 42 years of service. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Mr. Castleberry was an avid golfer and a member of Morehouse Country Club. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Mr. Castleberry was preceded in death by two sons, John Clinton Castleberry, Ernie Leo Castleberry, Jr.; parents, Walter & Eunice Castleberry; and two brothers, Truman "Slim" Castleberry, Roy Castleberry.
He is survived by a daughter, Diane Castleberry Douglas of Birmingham, AL; six grandchildren, Christy Hill, Don William Yeager, Jr., Christopher Castleberry, Spencer Castleberry, Shelley Castleberry, Destiny Castleberry; four great grandchildren, Samantha Hill, Zachary Hill, Garrett Castleberry, and Ashton Castleberry.
Funeral services are scheduled to be held in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. John Kimball officiating. Burial will follow in Christ Church Cemetery.
