DEATH COMES TUESDAY TO JOHN BIECK
HARVARD – John Bieck, 88, died Tuesday at Harvard. He was a retired farmer who came to the Harvard community 82 years ago, and lived for many years on a farm northwest of Harvard.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today [Thursday] at the United Church with the Rev. E. A. Katterhenry officiating.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Hilda Davidson of Gering and Mrs. Esther Neff of Timberville, Va. Three sons, Alfred and Ervin of Harvard and Harold of Tekemah, seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Also three sisters, Mrs. Lydia Woelflinger and Maggie Hagemeister, both of Harvard and Mrs. Carrie Kunde of Lincoln; one brother, William of Sumner, Ia.
