Lorna Baum Abbott, 49, formerly of Buxton, died Thursday, April 28, in Charlotte. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the family cemetery on Old Doctors Rd. in Buxton with the Rev. John Cullop officiating.
She is survived by three sons: Jefferson Abbott, Buddy Luther Abbott and his wife Ali, and Robert Lee Abbott and his wife Heather; a daughter, Laurie Elaine Abbott; and three brothers: Christopher Baum, III of Harkers Island, Johnnie Baum of Frisco and Wayne Baum of Frisco.
Lorna was preceded in death by her husband Roy Jefferson Abbott and a daughter, Stella Abbott.
