Yes, this is John Steelsmith Armbrust who fought with the 11th Pa. during the Civil War. He fought at Antietum and was wounded at the 2nd Bull Run. I am his first cousin 4 X removed. He was a true man of courage.

There is a John S.Armbrust on the rolls of the 11th,Pa.Vol.Inf.Reg.Co.I. He was mustered in on Sept.20th,1861, He was wounded at the 2nd Battle of Bull Run.Discharged on Surgeons Certificate on Jan.31st,1863
