BELTON — Carolyn Mae "Angel" Turner, 72, of Belton died Sunday, Nov. 8, at her home.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Dossman Funeral Home of Belton with the Rev. Sam Callaway officiating.
Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery at Calvary Baptist Church in Killeen.
Mrs. Turner was born on June 3, 1937, to Charles Albert Burchfield and Lena Arvella Powellson Burchfield in Wayne, Ohio. She married Joe Boyd Turner on July 12, 1971, in Dallas. She was a waitress for more than 30 years having worked at Chess's, Hallmark, Great Southwest and the Bluebonnet Café restaurants, retiring in 2005. She was a member of the Anchor of Hope Baptist Church in Belton. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2006, and a son, Steve Schoolcraft in 2004.
Survivors include a son, Rodney Schoolcraft of Belton; two daughters, Marla Jones of Burnet and Barbara Owen of Temple; three brothers, Carl Burchfield and Richard Burchfield, both of Ohio and Paul Burchfield of Arizona; a sister, Beverly Mick of Ohio; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
