Doris R. "Dottie" Clark (Hackett), 78, of Burnt Cedar Drive, North Kingstown, passed away Monday, August 20, 2012. She was the wife of Donald E. Clark for 56 years.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Laurea (Lowell) Hackett.

Mrs. Clark was an administrative assistant for the Holiday Inn in Providence for many years before retiring.
She was a communicant of St. Francis de Sales Church.
Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Leo D. Clark and his wife Julie of Narragansett; two daughters, Donna L. Smilowitz and her husband Kalman of Redondo Beach, CA and Lori J. Merola of North Kingstown; a sister, Eleanor F. Smith and her husband Barry of North Kingstown; four grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Her funeral was held Friday, August 24, 2012 from the FAGAN-QUINN Funeral Home, North Kingstown, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francis de Sales Church, North Kingstown. Burial followed in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 will be appreciated.
