Born August 2, 1922, Koosharem, Utah to Leston Lamont and Chloe Schaugaard Hatch. Married Kelsey Johnson Hill, January 26, 1952, Las Vegas; he died July 15, 1959. Married Murray Neil Nelson, March 26, 1962 in Reno; he died May 8, 1980.
Survived by son and daughter, John L. and his wife, Karen Hill, Richfield; Judy Hill and her husband, Terry P. Ingram, Centerville; two stepsons, Richard Kelsey and his wife, Ann Hill, Brooklyn, New York; Robert David and his wife, Myrna Hill, Cincinatti, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; mother, Mrs. Chloe Hatch, Richfield; three brothers, Blaine L. Hatch, Midvale; Gwendon L. Hatch and Larry R. Hatch, both Layton. Preceded in death by a daughter, Katherine, father, husbands, and two sisters, Margie Evans and Lavieve Hatch.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 11, 12 noon, Richfield Seventh LDS Ward Chapel, 159 North 400 West. Friends may call Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary, Thursday evening 7-9 p.m. and again Friday morning, 10:30-11:30 a.m.
Burial, Richfield City Cemetery.
