Daughter of Michael Joseph Andrews and Theresa Koval.

Theresa Margaret Andrews was born in the home of her parents at 9100 Aetna Road, Cleveland, Ohio, on August 26, 1906. She was baptized as Theresa Onder, by Father Chaloupka at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9614 Aetna Rd, Cleveland, Ohio. Before her marriage, she worked at the Hoffman Candy Company. At age 19, she married Joseph Palivec, 22, in the same church, on Wed, May 26, 1926. Theresa and Joseph had three daughters, Louise, in 1930, Virginia, in 1933, and Nancy, in 1937. They made their at home at 16175 Libby Road, Maple Heights, OH. During World War II, Theresa worked as a riviter at a defense plant in Cleveland.

In the summer of 1945, Theresa moved with her three children to Phoenix, AZ and within a few weeks, lost everything in a fire. She and her girls then traveled to 29 Palms, California, which was a small isolated town in the desert. Theresa worked there as a housekeeper and nanny for the Stubbs family until 1948, when she and her daughters moved to Santa Monica, CA. Theresa and Joseph divorced on Aug 30, 1948, after 22 years of marriage. She married James Marchesani in Santa Barbara, CA, on Oct 20, 1948. They lived in an apartment on Gateway Blvd, Los Angeles, CA. Together, they operated both a coffee shop or food counter between 1951 and 1953. The first restaurant was near MGM Studios in Santa Monica, CA, but then they moved to 3rd St. in Santa Monica and opened business under the name TJ's Coffee Shop. Lastly, they operated the food service inside Rexall Drug Store near the intersection of 34th St and Pico, Santa Monica, CA.

About 1954, Theresa moved back to Cleveland to be with ailing brother, Michael. Theresa's oldest daughter had married in Jan 1953, so only daughters Virginia and Nancy made the trip. However, Virginia attended St Alexis Nursing School in residence for three years in Cleveland. Theresa and Nancy lived with her brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Pauline Andrews, above Andrews Hardware.

Theresa and her two daughters returned to Santa Monica, CA once again around 1955 or 1956. Theresa took up studies for nursing. About 1957 or 1958, James and Theresa separated, but didn't divorce. Theresa worked as a nurse at St John's Hospital, Santa Monica, CA, and was a loving grandmother of five. She died of cancer on April 20, 1960, age 53, just four weeks after the birth of her fifth grandchild. Tragically, Theresa did not live to see the birth of two more grandchildren born in 1962 and 1967. Theresa was buried next to James in Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, CA.
