She was born in Dover and lived in Massillon most of her life. A former employee of the Hoover Co. at North Canton, her last place of employment was Smitty's diner in Massillon.
She was a member of First Wesleyan Methodist church. Her husband, Clyde, died in 1942.
Surviving are a son Russell P. Barkheimer of Buffalo, NY; a brother Daniel A. Paul and a stepbrother Ray Seek, both of Massillon; and one grandchild.
The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at the Arnold-Lynch funeral home, the hour to be announced later. The Rev. Donald Jones, her pastor, will officiate. Interment will be made in Massillon cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 9 P.M.
