Ms. Tisha Lamyra Bates was born January 18, 1981. She was a resident of Flint. Tisha was a member of North Star Missionary Baptist Church since the age of 5. She attended Flint Community Schools. Tisha enjoyed shopping, singing, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her children. She was a loving, caring, outgoing and very out spoken person. Tisha was so full of life and there was nothing she wouldn't do for the ones she loved.
She leaves to cherish her memory: 2 daughters, Markesha and Marquaisha McKinley;mother, Audrey Rogers; 6 sisters, Robin Rogers, Sherry Blassingame, Tina Bates, all of Flint, Tonya Bates of Atlanta, GA, Toby Bates of New Jersey and Tawanna Bates of Aurora, IL; 2 brothers, Eugene Bates of New Jersey and Berry Blassingame of Flint; a host of other relatives and friends including special friend and father of her children, Marcus McKinley.
Ms. Bates was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Williams; grandparents, Berry Blassinggame, Eunice Gay and Mary Williams.
