Joined the United States Army in 1942.374 Infantry.served in the European Theatre, recieved FOUR Bronze Stars, wounded on Dec.19, 1945 Battle of the Bulge. Was transferred to the 384th Army Air Corp fighter squadron, group, stationed in England until the end of the war.

Usher for Holy Redeemer Church in Detroit MI.
Drove a semi-truck for the J.L.Hudson co. in Detroit MI.
Achieved his dream of going to Hawaii, and then 7 years in a row.
