Harry M. Cazzola, a resident of Albuquerque since 1967, grew up in Deming, NM graduated from NMSU with a degree in mechanical engineering and was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Army. He headed several CCC camps in New Mexico. He began a hardware and lumber store in Cimarron, NM until World War II, when he was called up to the Pacific Theater as a Lieutenant Colonel for the Air Force. After the war, he began again in lumber and hardware in Springer, NM running the Shollenbarger and Cazzola Lumber Co. until 1967 when he moved the Aspen Air Manufacturing Co. to Albuquerque. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Cazzola, of Albuquerque; sons, Edward B. Cazzola of Albuquerque, and Harry J. Cazzola of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren, Rachel Cazzola of Albuquerque, Laura Cazzola of Marietta, OK, Daniel Cazzola of Flower Mound, TX and Phillip Cazzola of Denver, CO; and three great-grandchildren. A Rosary and Mass will be held at Queen of Heaven Church on Thursday evening. Burial will take place in Logan, NM. Memorial contributions may be made to Queen of Heaven School.
