Weyman Cyril Bunkley
Weyman Cyril Bunkley, 48, died Wednesday night at the Memorial Medical Center after an apparent heart attack.
He was a native and life-long resident of Bulloch County and was employed by Porter-Huggins Construction Company of Savannah. He was also a member of the local Iron Workers Union 709, a member of the Lawrence Baptist Church, and a veteran of the army.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary H. Bunkley, Pembroke; one daughter, Mrs. Sheila Braswell, Macon; one son, Neal Bunkley, Pembroke; his mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. L.B. Bunkley, Pembroke; two sisters, Ann Deal, Statesboro and Mrs. Claire Foltyn, Pembroke; and one brother, Leon Bunkley, Pembroke.
Funeral service will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Lawrence Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Joyner officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Hodges-Turner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
