OKLAHOMA CITY -- Services for Max W. Genn, 64, Mustang, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Southern Oaks United Pentecostal Holiness Church. Interment will follow at 3 p.m. in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Ardmore, under the direction of McNeil's Mustang Funeral Service.
Born on Dec. 9, 1940, to Elmer and Artrue Mitchell Genn in Ardmore, he died on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2005, at his home in Mustang after a short illness. He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer, and his first wife, Pat. He grew in Springer and was a graduate of Springer High School. He lived many years in Oklahoma City and Mustang. He was a trucker and a member of Southern Oaks United Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Survivors include his wife, Lynna of Mustang; a son, the Rev. John Genn and wife, Jody, Lone Grove; a daughter, Pam Sholund and husband, the Rev. Randy Sholund, Mustang; a stepdaughter, Amanda Moniz, Oklahoma City; his mother, Artrue Genn, Ardmore, and four grandchildren.
