Elizabeth graduated from Radcliffe College and worked a few years teaching piano and music before attending Yale to get a Masters in composition and piano after which she continued to teach piano. She was a member of Chirst Church, Cambridge, Mass. for over 60 year, sang in their choir, and composed several anthems for them.

Liz never married and moved in with her mother after her father's death, later taking care of her mother at home after Nancy's health and mind began to fail. She was the family historian. She enjoyed life and was always quick to smile and laugh.
