They lived on the Antonsen farm where they farmed for many years. Orville was a trucker also for many years for various farmers hauling peas, sweet corn, and sugar beets.

Later he worked for the Sibley County Highway Department. In 1985 they moved to Gibbon right near the county shop. In 1987 he retired. Then Orville and his wife started to winter in Florida for the last fifteen years where he golfed, did fishing and went to the beach which he loved. When they came back to Minnesota he enjoyed going to the farm, playing cards, and going fishing with the grandchildren.

Orville is survived by his wife Phyllis, daughters and sons-in-law Debra and Michael Johnson, of Eagan, MN, Brenda and John Mathews, of Venice, Florida, son and daughter-in-law Bruce and Pamela Antonsen, of Buffalo Lake, MN; grandsons Drew Johnson, Joshua, Tyler, and Brandon Antonsen, brothers-in-law Bill Hillger, of Minneapolis and Charles Berger, of St. Petersburg, Florida, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister and brother in law Priscilla and Wilfred Ebent, sister Elynor Hillger and by his brother and sister-in-law Virgil and Ordell Antonsen.
