LLOYD NELSON BOREN entered into the U.S. ARMY on 11th Feb. 1941. He served in Company "B," 324th Infantry. Regiment, 44th Division. He was killed by gunfire near Oniel, France on 11th Nov. 1944. He is buried in the Epinal American Cemetery & Memorial in France.
He was awarded the PURPLE HEART.
All of Lloyd's personal belongings, his wallet, dog-tags, etc; etc; and the U.S. American flag were sent back to his heart-broken Parents & Family in Trigg County, KY. after his death.
