Mr. Paul Fredrick Jones age 77 of 2453 Heavner Road Lincolnton died on Sunday November 22, 2009 in the Palliative CareCenter & Hospice of Catawba Valley.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday November 25, at 11 a.m. in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Love officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Charlotte. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Jones was born on June 29, 1932, son of the late James Barney Jones and Marie Eliza Little Jones.
He was owner of Lowes Oil & Service, in Lincolnton. He was also employed and retired from Times Oil Company. Mr. Jones was a veteran of the Korean War serving his country during wartime. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend and will be missed by all.
Survivors: include his wife Shirley Huffstickler Jones of the home; two sons James Paul "Jimmy" Jones (Norma) and Kevin Lee Jones of the home; one daughter Lisa Jones Humphrey of Dallas; five grand children Brandon Jones, Adam Jones, Crystal Jones Sherrill, Ethan Humphrey, Olivia Humphrey, five great-grandchildren Kaylie, Brooks, and Laney Jones, Morgan and Zackary Sherrill.
