George William Gray, Jr.

BOSSIER CITY, LA – Services for Mr. George William Gray, Jr., 71, will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, September 30, 1989 at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Charles Chance, retired Baptist minister. Masonic graveside rites will be at Blanchard Cemetery in Blanchard, La.

Mr. Gray died Wednesday, September 27, 1989 at Schumpert Medical Center following a short illness. He was born in Marshall, Texas and had been a Bossier and Blanchard resident for 40 years. Mr. Gray was a Baptist. He was a member of Blanchard Masonic Lodge #447 F&AM, and a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force. Mr. Gray was a retired Welding Instructor for Shreveport-Bossier Vo-Tech.

He is survived by one son, William Moore of Mooringsport, La.; three daughters, Betty Spears of Benton, La., Linda Berry of Greenwood, La., and Ann Staton of Blanchard, La.; one sister, Leta Strong of Marshall, Texas; eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Delmar Ward, James Moreau, Stephen Brandao, Danny Bernard, Sammy Guarisco and Michael Cocherell.
