Robert Adams died Monday at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Oakland. He was 70.

The native of Columbus, Ohio, lived in Danville for five years. He served in the Marine Corps during World War II.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Catherine M. Adams of Danville; daughter, Cathi Ferguson of Honolulu; son, David Adams of Diablo; mother, Gladys Dalziel of Columbus, Ohio; and sister, Elizabeth Flohr of Ohio.

Services: Visitation will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, followed by a memorial service at 4:30, both at Oak Park Hills Chapel in Walnut Creek. Burial at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella
