Sandi was a leader of friends and cousins, often organizing backyard games and basement plays performed for relatives. She was called "Commander Sander" by her family. Sandi was a lover of animals and particulary of frogs, sharing her room with two tree frogs. Sandi was a budding entrepreneur begging her parents to allow her to establish a dog walking/sitting business. She was attending Camp Invention and loved working on her project. Sandi was excited about going to Thompson Middle School in Oswego, IL and playing clarinet in the school band.
